Sunningdale Creche is housed in state of the art facilities in the Sunningdale area in Cape Town, built 5 years ago it stands as a testament to modern education with a new approach to engaging with children in Early Childhood Development. Most of the staff working at Sunningdale Creche has more than 10 years service in employment with some as high as 18 years service.
Our curriculum for all our children from 18 months to 4 years of age was developed in house by us, with collective experience gained from our family being involved in the sector for more than 60 years.
Our Pre Grade R and Grade R classes follow the Caps curriculum as designated by the department of Basic Education.
We are registered with both the Department of Social Development as well as the Department of Basic Education

Dedicated Staff
Sunningdale Creche has been operational for 18 years in the greater Tableview area. We have a dedicated staff contingent of 15 full time staff members 70 percent of whom have been with us for more than 10 years and we have 4 full time interns who are training and studying to be ECD practitioners.
ECD's and the Creche business is in our blood and has been in our family for over 60 years.
Curriculum
Sunningdale Creche has its own registered NELDS curriculum for children from 18 months to 4 years and follow a CAPs curriculum from the Department of Education for our Pre grade R and Grade R classes.
Our Teachers have a minimum NQF Level 4 in ECD with some Teachers qualified with NQF Level 5 in ECD.
The school is a registered Independant school, with the Department of Basic Education and has been so for the last 10 years.

Our Philosophy at Sunningdale Creche is to grow children's minds , build character and encourage creativity. Our approach is that Children are Children and should be taught in a manner that is fun , yet structured , creative whilst allowing children to express themselves .
Being a child is about having fun at school whilst learning .A place that they want to come to , to meet friends , learn and interact with their Teachers and peers
